Yes. Zack is a fully qualified driving instructor with more than 20 years of coaching experience. Lessons are delivered in fully insured, dual-controlled automatic hatchbacks.

No. Pickup and drop-off are included for lessons within our North-west Melbourne service area. We can collect you from home, school, university or work and return you after your lesson.

All driving lessons and packages are prepaid. Zack will confirm the payment arrangements when your lesson time is booked by phone or through the online booking form.

Driving lessons and prepaid packages are valid for three months from purchase. Booking your sessions in advance can help you maintain consistent progress and secure suitable lesson times.

Use the online lesson booking form to choose your lesson type, preferred date, time and pickup location. You can also call 0485 555 067. We aim to confirm your booking by text within two business hours.

Yes. You can reschedule at no cost by providing at least 24 hours' notice. If less than 24 hours' notice is given, contact Zack as soon as possible; a late-change fee may apply.

Lessons are available Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Zack Driving School is closed on Sundays.

We aim to respond by text, phone or email within two business hours. Enquiries received outside operating hours will be answered when the business reopens.

You must be at least 18, hold your learner permit continuously for at least 12 months, complete and record at least 120 hours of supervised driving—including 20 hours at night—and pass the Hazard Perception Test before taking your drive test. Always confirm the latest requirements with VicRoads.

The 120-hour supervised-driving requirement does not apply once you are 21. However, drivers aged 21 to under 25 must hold their learner permit continuously for at least six months, while drivers aged 25 or older must hold it for at least three months. You must also pass the Hazard Perception Test before your drive test.

The drive test begins with a pre-drive vehicle check and then moves to an on-road assessment. The on-road component has two stages: stage one checks safe driving in less challenging conditions, and stage two assesses normal driving tasks in busier traffic. You must pass stage one to continue to stage two.
